These Usage Terms ("Terms") govern your use of the RoE Handbook mobile application ("the App"), a helper app for the game Rise of Castles provided by LAP Tech Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) and that you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
RoE Handbook is a free, ad-supported companion app that provides Rise of Castles players with hourly challenge schedules, hero combinations, castle development guidance, and related reference information. It is an independent, unofficial tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of Rise of Castles.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.

It is your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the App secure. We recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, as this may compromise your device's security features and could prevent the App from working properly.
The App is available for free with advertisements. A premium subscription may be offered to remove ads and unlock additional features.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. We will never charge you without making it clear exactly what you are paying for.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. Ad content is determined by the ad provider and is not controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of any advertisements displayed.
Certain functions of the App require an active internet connection via Wi-Fi or your mobile network. We cannot take responsibility for the App not working at full functionality if you do not have access to a connection or sufficient data allowance. If you use the App outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's terms still apply, and you may incur data or roaming charges for which you are responsible.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, and content, is owned by LAP Tech Studio and protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how information is collected, used, and protected.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we endeavor to keep the information updated and correct, we rely on third parties to provide some of it and do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We accept no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on the information or functionality of the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LAP Tech Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
We may update the App from time to time. Platform requirements may change, and you may need to download updates to keep using the App. We do not promise that the App will always be updated or remain compatible with your device's operating system version. We may also stop providing the App and terminate its use at any time without notice. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will end, and you must stop using and (if needed) delete the App from your device.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
